Gift in Will
Leaving a gift in your Will to the NSW SES Volunteers Association is one of the most impactful and meaningful ways to secure the long-term future of the Association and provide ongoing welfare and mental health support for generations of volunteers to come.
A gift in your Will supports the Association to enhance the quality of life by:
- Providing vital services and programs for emotionally or physically injured volunteers of the SES
- Providing various programs to enhance the well being and volunteering experience of our volunteers
- Ensuring ongoing support to volunteers keep SES volunteers able to respond to emergencies for their local community

The NSW SES Volunteers Association is a separate entity to the NSW State Emergency Service, and as such does not receive any government funding.
NSW SES Volunteers Association members, who are all volunteers, are not charged any membership fees. Our organistation undertakes fundraising in order to function and provide support to its members.
We are a Charitable Institution and currently raise funds via donations, public raffles and sponsorships.
Funds raised assist NSW SES VA in achieving its objectives:
- Providing representation of the views and concerns of the volunteer members of the NSW SES
- Providing tangible benefits to the volunteer members of the NSW SES
- Providing public education
The NSW SES Volunteers Association's many functions ensure that all NSW SES Volunteers across NSW are represented not only by a competent and professional entity, but also one that is highly influential in ensuring the voices of volunteers are clearly heard by those in power. The funding also assists NSW SES Units in procuring worthwhile necessities for their area, ensuring that they can provide the maximum benefit to people within their community.
Funds generated directly benefit volunteers through a number of “giving” programs including Unit Grants and Scholarships for much needed operational equiment, amenities and welfare items.
The generous support of people across NSW who assist in the funding of the NSW SES Volunteers Association is very much appreciated.
