SESVA Membership - Changes to Associations Legislation
A new Associations Incorporation Act 2009 and Associations Incorporation Regulation 2010 commenced on 1st July 2010 and because of these changes the SESVA needs to update its membership records and modernise its constitution.
The SESVA Council are now requesting its members to assist us in bringing our association into line with these new association laws in the first instance by completing a new membership application form.
This new application form for membership of the NSW State Emergency Service Volunteers Association Incorporated meets all the requirements of Fair Trading and the new associations legislation. It has been sent out to all members and can be downloaded from here.
Could you please complete the new SESVA membership application form, (regardless of having completed “any” previous SESVA membership application forms, including having ticked the SESVA box on the SES membership form) and return your completed form to:
