Anzac day Hailstorm causes six Huntingwood factories to collapse and millions of dollars worth of damage - Blacktown Advocate
HUNTINGWOOD was hammered by a hailstorm on Saturday, causing six buildings to collapse and leaving four more with severe water damage.
Beiersdorf Australia’s warehouse was the first building to collapse under the pressure of the hail, at 3.35pm.
Fire and Rescue NSW duty commander for western Sydney Inspector Kernin Lambert was first on the scene when the buildings caved in.
“Within minutes a blanket of hail at least 10cm thick covered the ground, roads and landed on building roofs,” he said.
