Blacktown SES sent to help Toongabbie - Blacktown Sun
by By Katrina Vo | May 18, 2015
HOMES were blacked out last Wednesday when 25km/h winds blew a tree over onto powerlines in Vancouver Avenue, Toongabbie.
The Blacktown SES unit was called to the scene about 1pm.
They worked with Endeavour Energy as the powerlines were wrapped around the tree which was obstructing the road.
Operation team leader Graham Cirson said the tree was about 12 metres long and about 2.4 metres in diameter.
