THE local State Emergency Services (SES) unit had a busy day in late May.
The Wingecarribee SES unit received two callouts in the space of 15 minutes for assistance at road crashes.
SES members rescued a woman who was trapped in her vehicle on the Illawarra Highway, near Tudor House School.
Fifteen minutes earlier, the local SES received a callout for assistance at a road incident in Berrima.
Mr Turner said the SES was informed that a person was trapped under their motorcycle.
"Our team has highly trained volunteers who train hard to be able to perform such roles."
