Coasties say thank you to the hard - working emergency service volunteers - Central Coast Gosford Express Advocate
THEY’VE weathered what has been billed the worst storm to hit the Central Coast, with almost 4000 emergency call-outs in nine days.
The commitment and dedication of those who have been working tirelessly in one of the region’s biggest emergency and clean-up operations is being recognised as Coasties say a huge “thank you”.
Leaders across the Coast have saluted the many SES and other emergency workers who have braved wild conditions, flooding and long hours to restore normality to the region.
Crews have been flat out clearing and assessing dangerous trees, tarping roofs and getting rid of debris as well as sandbagging homes and evacuating residents in flooded areas.
