Congratulations David King

Congratulations to long-standing SES volunteer and NSW SES VA member David King, awarded the prestigious Emergency Services Medal in the 2015 Queen's Birthday Honours.

David is currently deputy controller at the SES Hawkesbury unit.

Minister for Emergency Services David Elliott said, “David has been actively engaged in developing the operational capability of the NSW SES for over 30 years.

"He has authored numerous training resources including vertical, road crash, flood and large animal rescue packages.

"He has also participated in, judged and organised rescue competitions,” Mr Elliot said.

NSW SES Commissioner Adam Dent and VA President Charlie Moir also congratulated David and expressed their gratitude for his exceptional service and dedication.
