Dungog residents critical of emergency services during eye of super storm - ABC News
by | May 21, 2015
Dungog residents are questioning whether emergency services did enough to warn people about rising floodwaters during last month's deadly super storm.
Three people were killed when their Dungog homes were inundated four weeks ago.
Resident Dennis Bourke said the community is not looking to lay blame, but it is wondering whether more could have been done to warn local residents of the danger.
"One of the things that seems to bothering a lot of people is perhaps the protocols of the SES weren't followed correctly or ignored," he said.
