Fairfield residents urged to prepare for wet weather in Sydney - Fairfield Advance
by | July 17, 2015
Wild winter weather has come to Fairfield, with the SES called to two incidents overnight to help beleaguered residents.
Fairfield SES commander Les Milne said officers were called to help residents move a tree blocking their driveway and to another incident in which water damaged a roof.
“The most important thing if the rain is heavy is not to drive through water if you’re not sure of the depth,” he said.
Mr Milne urged residents to stay inside as storm fronts passed and to clean their gutters during dry periods.
