Fatigued SES volunteers brace for more wild weather as floods forecast in northern NSW - ABC News
by By Elloise Farrow-Smith and Bruce Mackenzie | April 30, 2015
The SES says volunteers in northern New South Wales are battling exhaustion as they prepare for another major weather event.
Crews from Victoria are being deployed to help the region prepare for forecast flooding as the Hunter and Sydney regions continue to clean up after destructive floods last week.
The Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast are expected to receive the heaviest rain as the result of a possible east coast low forming off the coast, with a flood watch in place for coastal valleys from the NSW-Queensland border to Nelson Bay.
