Hornsby SES responds to fallen trees, leaking roofs as wild weather continues - Hornsby Advocate
by Tracey Findlay | April 21, 2015
BATTEN down the hatches — we are in for another day of heavy rain and strong winds.
Local SES crews have responded to dozens of calls for assistance overnight, mostly the result of fallen trees and leaking roofs.
Sydney Trains is advising commuters to allow extra travel time on the North Shore Line due to a tree on the line at Wahroonga. A number of trees have also fallen along the length of the M1 and crews are working to remove them.
Some roads are flooded and power has been cut in some areas.
