New South Wales State Emergency Service (NSW SES) Hurstville Unit has been given a financial boost with a $5,000 NSW Government discretionary grant. Mr Mark Coure handed over the funds today to local volunteers from the NSW SES Hurstville Unit at a special ceremony.
NSW SES Sydney Southern Region Controller Samantha Colwell said the grant money will help the volunteers in carrying out important emergency response work.“These funds will allow for infrastructure improvements of the Unit’s facilities, which will improve operations when the Unit responds to calls for assistance from the public."
