by Matthew Purcell | April 29, 2015
AS the Hunter Valley begins their clean up from last week’s super-storm, many people still without basic services, an SES duo from Tenterfield has returned from the devastation.
Richard Dennison and Cassie Miller from the Tenterfield SES Unit joined 25 other SES volunteers from the NSW North West in aiding storm affected communities across the Hunter region.
Three Dungog residents died after the disaster-declared town copped 312 millimetres of rain in one day.
“The North West Region of the NSW SES supplied members from Ashford, Bingara, Inverell, Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Warialda, Deepwater and Moree,” SES North West spokesman Wes Macpherson said.
