Local SES to spread the world in Stormsafe Week - Mudgee Guardian
by Sam Potts | August 28, 2013
Mudgee residents are being warned if they hear a knock on the door on Saturday morning and they are greeted by a member of the State Emergency Service (SES) it’s not likely to be a disaster.
Local Unit Controller, Ian Forrester, said volunteers will be out and about in specific areas of Mudgee to provide information on how to prepare their home for severe storms and flooding.
“We’ve identified a few areas that are prone to flash flooding in the Mudgee township and we will be doing a door knock this Saturday,” he said.
