New Wollongong Home for NSW SES - NSW SES
by | December 23, 2015
Minister for Emergency Services David Elliott today announced the NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) will move to a modern, new headquarters in Wollongong, as part of the Government’s ongoing commitment to the Illawarra.
The emergency service agency has outgrown its current headquarters on Regent Street in Wollongong – where it has been based for 15 years - and its staff will relocate to the new space on Burelli Street in 2017.
Mr Elliott said the new state headquarters will meet the operational and businesses needs of one of Australia’s busiest emergency services and ensure hundreds of jobs remain in the region.
