NSW SES Celebrates NAIDOC Week - NSW SES
by | July 6, 2015
NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that they make to our country and our society.
The NSW SES is proud to count many Aboriginal peoples amongst its members, and acknowledges their contribution in helping local communities in times of emergency and disaster.
Located in the north west of the State, Goodooga is a small and largely Aboriginal community of 350 people and host to an SES Unit comprised entirely of Aboriginal members.
