NSW SESVA Update - May 2025

Good afternoon NSW SES Volunteers,

We’re now accepting submissions for the upcoming June 2025 edition of The Volunteer Magazine.

This is your chance to contribute to our statewide publication and help highlight the incredible work being done across NSW SES. We’d love to hear your stories, celebrate your team’s achievements and recognise the efforts of our dedicated volunteers.

We’re looking for contributions such as:

•  Operational experiences – Share lessons or moments from recent callouts or deployments etc
•  Training stories – Talk about challenges, outcomes or new skills gained
•  Volunteer recognitions – Know someone in your unit who deserves a special mention? Let us know!
•  Community outreach – Show how your unit is engaging with the community
