NSW stroms:Damaging winds rip off apartments block roof, cut power and brings down trees- ABC News

An apartment block in West Wollongong is without a roof this morning after damaging winds, hail and heavy rain hit parts of New South Wales overnight.

 

The storm caused widespread damage to the building in West Dapto Road.

 

Ausgrid said it had restored power to about 3,700 homes on the Central Coast this morning, after their electricity was cut during the storm.

 

Spokeswoman Zoe Allebone said there was still about 200 homes without power in Chatswood in Sydney's north
