Police continue the search for a missing bushwalker near Oberon - ABC News

Police say a bushwalker who's been missing from the state's central west for a week, was only prepared for a day trip.

Police officers, helicopters, firefighters and S-E-S volunteers have been searching the dense bushland near Oberon for the past three days for Sevak Simonian.

The 21 year old went for a bushwalk in Kanangara Boyd National Park last Monday.

Mr Simonian's parents raised the alarm when he failed to return home.
