Queen's Birthday award is fit for a King - NSW SES

For some people, responding to a crisis is a calling.

For David King that calling has lasted for over 38 years.

The NSW State Emergency Service volunteer and Deputy Controller from Hawkesbury Unit was today recognised for his enduring contribution to the NSW SES with the prestigious Emergency Services Medal.

Minister for Emergency Services David Elliott congratulated David for receiving the medal during the 2015 Queen’s Birthday Honours.
