SES awards finish a busy year for Penrith Unit - Penrith City Gazette
by Elisha Pearce | December 16, 2014
The NSW State Emergency Service Penrith Unit had a presentation night to acknowledge the work the volunteers put into the community this year on Wednesday December 3.
NSW SES Deputy Commissioner Steve Pearce, Deputy Region Controller George Jeffereys and Region Controller Allison Flaxman attended the celebration.
Michael Faccin, the media liaison for the Penrith unit said it was great to recognise the achievements and contributions of our volunteers.
‘‘The past year has seen a significant amount of jobs and volunteers each week have been out away from families and work assisting in whatever way we can,’’ he said.
