by | April 21, 2015
The rain and winds have kept State Emergency Service volunteers in the New South Wales Central West busy during the night.
Central West regional controller Craig Ronan said there had been reports from across the region of people affected by the wet weather.
"Overnight we've seen a lot of heavy rain and we've seen some strong winds," he said.
"We've had close to 20 jobs overnight.
"Mainly leaking rooves in the Lithgow area and we've had a lot of trees down in Canowindra, Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow and Portland.
"So the damage has been fairly widespread."
