SES crews are winding up their mop-up operations on Central coast following devastating storms - Central Coast Gosford Express Advocate
IT HAS been one of the largest clean-up operations on the Central Coast, but State Emergency Service crews are down to the last handful of jobs after last month’s super storm.
The SES received a total of 4180 call-outs and Wyong LGA was the worst hit in the state.
“Out of 2476 jobs we’re down to the last 20 or so, and getting back to some sort of normality,” SES Wyong controller Allan Benson said on Wednesday.
“Many volunteers are returning to their day jobs thanks to our super Saturday clean-up where cherry pickers and cranes were used for the more complex jobs.
