SES Training at Pejar - Crookwell Gazette

June was flood month and local SES Controller Nick Orchard has recently conducted training and assessments at Pejar Dam for their flood boat operators.  

This involved the use of powered boats on Pejar Dam.

Council has a policy that restricts the use of power boats on Pejar Dam, however, for this specific training the SES was granted permission to use their power boats on dam during the weekend due to the community benefit in having our emergency services trained for flood response situations.
