THE DUBBO State Emergency Service (SES) team braced for possible damaging winds in the Central West Slopes and Plains district yesterday as a strong cold front moved north.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) issued a severe weather warning yesterday morning in anticipation of gale force winds expected over south east and central NSW ahead of a strong cold front.
