SES urges hoseholders to be prepared during storm season - Central Coast Gosford Express Advocate

Emergency services have issued a wild weather warning after a falling tree demolished the upper storey of a Umina Beach home on Sunday night and other homes narrowly escaped damage.

On the eve of the official start of storm season, which was yesterday (October 1), the large tree crashed into the two-storey pole home, at Umina with strong winds suspected of weakening the ground around it.
