A LOW pressure system off the NSW coast generated severe weather and damaging winds along the NSW coastal fringe whilst an upper trough and cold pool of air Thursday night July 16 over the Upper Lachlan Shire generated widespread snowfall

As of 2pm Sunday July 18 a total of 26 requests for assistance had been received by the Crookwell SES unit.

Tasks included damage to buildings from the weight of snow, tree damage with trees falling and blocking driveways and roads.
