by | July 17, 2015
IT was ‘snow good’’ for skiers but Sydney was expected to wake battered and bruised this morning after a major storm front was due to sweep in overnight.
The SES was warning residents to stay indoors and away from windows with destructive winds set to lash parts of Sydney, the Illawarra and Hunter.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning with average windspeeds of about 70km/h, with gusts up to 90km/h.
