Sydney Weather Update: Rain And Cold Here To Stay - Aussie Network News
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has reportedly issued a warning of severe weather across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Those eagerly looking forward to a bright, sunny morning in the near future might feel disappointed. Weather experts have warned of heavy rainfall, wind and thunderstorms that can hang around for some time.
NSW State Emergency Service (SES) Becky Gollings recently said that there are no signs of any significant damage, although there’s some heavy rain around the northern part of the state, along the coastal areas. She further said that crews are currently monitoring the situation and will help out the people in need.
“We obviously have our crews on standby with sandbags … but certainly those huge seas and coastal erosion that we saw at Collaroy a couple of months ago … that was because we had some major king tides, we’re not seeing those kinds of conditions this time around,” she told ABC News.
