The 2024 Volunteer Voice survey is now open! 

Please see below the following information we are sharing on behalf of the NSW SES - 

If you have questions about the 2024 Volunteer Voice Survey or if you need assistance accessing or completing the survey, please contact the Volunteer Strategy team by emailing: experience@ses.nsw.gov.au. 

Your voice will help us better understand your experience with the NSW SES and ensure the opportunity for you to feel heard and valued. Your feedback helps us to understand what is working well and how we can continue to improve our service and your experience as a volunteer so we can better serve the communities of NSW. 

The survey in 100% anonymous and shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to complete.

The survey has been redesigned this year, based on your feedback with the assistance of Dr Vivien Forner, an Honorary Research Academic with the Sydney University who specialises in volunteer retention.  We hope the results will provide us with better insights to enhance volunteer experience at the NSW SES.

 The Volunteer Voice survey will be open for 4 weeks. Please tell us about your volunteer experience and encourage other members at your Unit to do the same.   We’re keen to hear your feedback about what is working well and where we can improve.

Volunteer Voice Working Groups continued to meet regularly across the Zones to discuss and implement initiatives and action plans that address the survey results.  Zone based Volunteer Voice working groups and action planning will continue into the next survey cycle and beyond. So please have your say – we intend to act on it!
