Tsunami impacts to come under the spotlight on Mid North Coast - ABC News

The impact of a tsunami on the Mid North Coast will be the focus of an emergency services exercise in Port Macquarie this weekend.

The multi-agency emergency management exercise Wave Rider will test the local response to a large scale tsunami.

NSW SES deputy regional controller Tony Day said the aim of the exercise was to make sure all emergency agencies knew what their role would be if a tsunami hit the region.
