Winds take their toll as SES reocrds 74 calls for help - Power FM

The winds have dropped across the region this morning, compared with yesterday, but could still get up to 50 KPH during the day.
Yesterday strong winds buffeted the Shoalhaven and Wingecarribee for the third time in a week.
Gusts in Nowra and Moss Vale on Monday afternoon reached more than 90KPH, and Ulladulla and Point Perpendicular close to 80 KPH.
Shoalhaven SES has logged 9 calls for help , mainly for damage caused by trees and branches coming down on homes.
Calls have come from Nowra, Basin View, Worrigee, Callala Beach and Sanctuary Point.
Since last Thursday the Shoalhaven SES has recorded more than 70 calls for assistance.
Locals are reminded to report any power outages to Endeavour Energy.
