Member Care, Support and Assistance – Update
Member Care, Support and Assistance – Update
As we come to terms with the tragic events of yesterday evening at Bondi, many NSW SES members, their loved ones, and families may be experiencing shock, distress, and a wide range of emotions.

The role of the NSW State Emergency Service Volunteers Association (NSW SESVA) is to ensure care, welfare, and practical support for any NSW SES member (volunteer or staff) and their family who may be affected.

This remains an ongoing and critical NSW Police matter, and all operational and investigative information relating to the incident will continue to be managed and communicated by NSW Police.

Out of respect to those that lost their lives, and to their families, the NSW SESVA will not be commenting on the incident or NSW SES activity until a later time. Our focus remains on the welfare and support of members.

We want you to know that you are not alone, and support is available.
