Albury SES warns drivers to be careful - The Border Mail
by By Tammy Mills | July 29, 2014
WITH heavy rain predicted today, the Albury State Emergency Service has warned Border drivers to be patient on slippery roads.
The unit has already been called to water over the road at the Elizabeth Mitchell Drive and Corrys Road intersection this morning.
Its volunteers said due to the dry spell, there could be build-up of contanimants on the roads that could make roads slippery.
They urged drivers to drive carefully and use lights in low visability.
For emergency help with flooding or storm damage, phone the SES on 132 500.
If the situation is life-threatening, phone 000.
