Bathrust emergency services workers join hunt for man missing in Kanangara Boyd National Park Lighgo

A NUMBER of Bathurst's emergency service personnel have joined in the search for a man missing at Kanangara Boyd National Park near Oberon.

Sydney man Sevak Simonian, 21, was last seen around 8pm on Monday, October 20 but he was not reported missing by relatives until last Thursday.

His car was found on Friday night in a car park at Kanangara Boyd National Park.

Mr Simonian has previously gone on bushwalks alone in the same national park, and Chifley Local Area Command officers commenced a search of the area on Saturday.

Bathurst State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers are among those to join the search with personnel on site since Sunday.
