Body fisherman at Wallis lake dived in the fetch son's dropped shoe - The Daily Telegraph

POLICE have located the body of a Sydney fisherman who went missing after trying to retrieve his son’s shoe while on holiday on the mid North Coast.

The 32-year-old from Berala, in Sydney’s south-west, was on holidays at Wallis Lake, near Forster, with his wife and two children.

He slipped under the water near the shore at the popular Head Street Bridge fishing spot about 2pm yesterday.

The man’s body was located near Regatta Island just after midday.
