KLIFFY the Koala and Paddy the Platypus want to teach children and their families about fire and natural disaster safety at the Clifton Grove Ophir NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) Brigade’s open day on Saturday.
Alongside RFS mascot Kliffy and State Emergency Service (SES) mascot Paddy, volunteers from the Clifton Grove Ophir RFS and SES Orange City Unit will help Orange residents prepare for the bushfire season.
RFS publicity officer Alyce Selwood said it was a great opportunity for people to find out how to stay safe this summer.
