Central Coast braces for next round for storms this afternoon after wild weather last night Coast Go

The Central Coast is bracing for a second lashing of wild weather this afternoon following a sudden storm that hit the region last night.

Heavy rain and strong winds hit the coast at about 6pm, causing traffic problems in a number of areas.

Drivers were forced to slow to as little as 20km/h as torrential rain reduced visibility to a few metres.

The spectacular storm front that rolled into the Centreal Coast created a social media photo storm of its own with some spectacular images taken across the region.
