Family makes lucky escape as front yard turns in to a river and washes away car - The Daily Telegrap

A young family had to escape over their back fence after their front yard became so flooded it washed away the family car in Bexley last night.

Neighbours rushed to the aid of the Gotsis family who had to pass their young children, aged one and three, over the back fence just after 9pm.

Peter Gotsis’s Nissan Dualis this morning remained upside down in a nearby canal that had overflowed after being blocked with items like a water tank.
