Kodie Hardy is our NSW SES Cadet of the Year - NSW SES

To kick-off National Volunteer Week this week, the NSW State Emergency Service would like to congratulate cadet, Kodie Hardy and NSW Rural Fire Service cadet Timothy Pedley who were announced as winners of the 2015 Cadet of the Year Awards today.

Kodie, from Warialda High School in Northern NSW has shown leadership, maturity and support of other cadets as well as completing several courses including NSW SES basic training and Road Crash Rescue. He is one of over 2,400 students who have completed the NSW SES Secondary Schools Cadet Program since 2008.

The awards, sponsored by Origin Energy were presented to the cadets by Parliamentary Secretary for Veterans and the Centenary of the ANZAC Mr Daryl Maguire.
