A YOUNG man has escaped serious injury in a single car rollover at Waterview Heights.
The red SS Commodore was travelling on the Gwydir Highway about 5pm yesterday, when the 24-year-old male occupant lost control of the vehicle.
The car left the road and rolled several times before coming to a stop in a nearby paddock.
Police, NSW Fire Rescue, ambulance and SES attended the scene and the occupant was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital.
He was treated for a broken rib, moderate concussion and a laceration to the ear, and is believe to be in a stable condition.
