Multi - agency rescue excercise for Coffs - Coffs Coast ADvocate

A MARINE rescue, a road crash, and a burning kitchen will set the stage in a series of emergency rescue exercises in Coffs Harbour tomorrow.

120 emergency service personnel will refine their skills in five staged scenarios around the Coffs Harbour Deep Sea Fishing Club – one of the largest exercises ever undertaken on the Coffs Coast.

Scenarios will include a simulated water evacuation by Water Police and Volunteer Marine Rescue, a spinal injury recovery off rocks, a road crash casualty by the SES, and Fire and Rescue NSW will be involved with extinguishing a kitchen fire and managing smoke inhalation.
