by | July 9, 2015
Residents and holidaymakers are being urged to prepare for a burst of cold weather across New South Wales over the weekend which will see snow fall and temperatures drop to zero in many areas.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said the conditions will come with a series of cold fronts that will begin moving through the state on Friday and continue over the weekend.
Temperatures are expected in single digits or below zero across the south east of the state during the nights and mornings and snow is expected to fall over the Australian Alpine region on Saturday, extending to the Great Dividing Range by Sunday.
