National Emergency Worker Support Service (NEWSS)
NEWSS is a free, confidential mental health support for emergency service workers – both employed and volunteers.
The NEWSS service is made up of three main components:
- Online mental health check – a check-in to see how emergency service workers are going and get recommended a range of free specialist support options.
- Access up to 12 clinical sessions with our trauma-informed psychologists, free of charge. No Medicare or GP information required.
- A range of evidence-based mental health resources, tools and information.
If you are interested to learn more about NEWSS, There are two online Peer Information Session in April:
- Monday 15th April, 2pm – 2.30pm AEST
- Thursday 18th April, 10am – 10.30am AEST
