NSW SES VA Proud Sponsors of the 2019 State Disaster Rescue Challenge

Congratulations to the Port Macquarie SES Unit winners of the  2019 State Disaster Rescue Challenge!

The Event was held in Wollongong over the weekend where the team competed against the best eight teams in New South Wales to come out victorious. The challenge, called Exercise Thunderstruck was held at Albion Park and the teams skills in rescues, storms and first aid were tested.

The Port Macquarie Unit also took out the prestigious safety shield given to the team who is recognised for ensuring safe working practices for all while getting the job done.
