Paraglider hospitalised after crashing into cliff at Stanwell Tops - ABC

A man has been airlifted to hospital with injuries after he crashed into the side of a cliff while paragliding south of Sydney.

Emergency services were called at about 1.00pm following reports a paraglider had crashed and landed heavily into the side of a cliff at Stanwell Tops in Bald Hill.

Paramedics arrived to find the man conscious and suffering injuries to his chest and pelvis.

NSW Ambulance Inspector Matt Stirling said fire and rescue officers along with the SES found it difficult reaching the patient.
