SES crews will be on the road again this morning to finish of the last of sixty jobs resulting from another night of heavy rain and storms.
The worst hit areas were Bowral, Mittagong, Bundanoon, Nowra, many of the same locations impacted by heavy rains on Wednesday night.
Illawarra South Coast Deputy Regional Controller, Alex McFadden, says the damage was mostly for water into homes from heavy rain.
"They've seen another pattern of weather across last night and we saw five separate cells hover over that area and cause a spectacular light show again," she said.
She says more showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Friday and over the weekend.
"All of the crews in the Illawarra will be on standby tonight with the anticipation of more thunderstorms in the early evening times and of course across the weekend".
