SES to conduct review into Dungong flood response - ABC News
by | May 25, 2015
The SES Commissioner says an 'after action' review will be undertaken by the organisation into its response to last month's deadly floods in Dungog.
Three people died when floodwaters swept through the town in the early hours of April 21.
The Commissioner Adam Dent says he is area of the criticism levelled at the service, with claims there were no local SES officers in Dungog at the time the flooding hit.
The Commissioner says the review will address their processes and the arrangements with other emergency services.
He says as the matter is now before the State Coroner, the SES will be providing every assistance with the process.
