SES warns:keep kids out of floods and dangerous surf - ABC News
by By Samantha Turnbull | May 4, 2015
Children caught playing in a flooded area at Coutts Crossing have prompted the State Emergency Service to again warn people to stay away from flood waters.
Clarence-Nambucca State Emergency Service controller Caroline Ortel said the children were seen on boogie boards in flood waters on Sunday night.
"Can we remind everyone not to play, drive, ride or anything in flood waters," she said.
"It may look calm and all right but you don't know what's under that water and kids playing in the water is extremely concerning.
