Short Street Store shows appreciation by wearing orange for the SES - Daily Liberal

Wednesday was a day of recognition and appreciation for State Emergency Service volunteers when the community showed their support by wearing the colour orange.

Wear Orange Wednesday, is a day dedicated to the 40,000 SES volunteers who provide millions of hours of their time to help communities in times of natural disasters and emergencies.

The concept of wearing orange, the colour worn by SES volunteers, shows support to those who help with storm and flood operations and other rescue activities.
